how to warm up our cookies

the slow way

our recommended way (fool proof) - the best things usually take time:

works perfectly with chilled or room temp cookies

1. turn your oven on and set the temperature to 180C

2. once warm, place your cookies in the oven on a lined baking tray

3. TURN OFF THE OVEN and leave the cookies in for 15-20 minutes

5. take the tray out of the oven, let them rest a few minutes (they're going to be soft at this stage) and bon appétit

the middle way

is still a very good way - quicker, but you have to keep an eye out for them

works best with cookies at room temperature

1. turn your oven on and set the temperature to 180C(no fan, 160C with fan)

2. once hot, place your cookies in the oven on a lined baking tray

3. leave them for 2-4 minutes (careful: leave them too long and they might dry out inside and burn the outside)

4. enjoy your warm cookies with a glass of oat milk

the fast way

if you want it NOW - this one's the fastest way, but your cookies will tend to be soft and you might need a spoon to eat them

(and watch out, chocolate burns very easily)

1. microvawe your cookie for 10 seconds at full blast - ONE at a time

2. eat, and then lick your fingers - or use a spoon

the lazy but still awesome way

for when you don't need melted chocolate - let's face it, dunking a warm and melty cookie in a glass of milk can be a challenge, so if that's your plan we suggest you don't warm them up.

our favourite way is to break one in half and dunk that half moon of a cookie in cold oat milk....
